Mobile Onboarding

Associates must complete a list of steps during onboarding and many of these steps can be done through the mobile app. However, Payment Elections must be made on a computer. Associates can reach Workday on a computer by going to The Dish and clicking the Workday link. Learn more about the onboarding process.

Profile Photo Issues

Are you or one of your associates having trouble with a profile photo? Workday will occasionally rotate a photo, causing it to display incorrectly. To resolve this issue, try saving the photo to a laptop or desktop. Open the photo, click Edit, then rotate it 90 degrees. Save the rotated photo and try uploading it again.

Position vs. Job Profile

Though they’re related, a position and a job profile are very different things. A position is a seat in your organization. A job profile is assigned to a seat and describes the job duties and pay range of the associate who sits in it. See the Position Management video for more information.

Notification Preferences

Would you prefer to receive all of your Workday notifications at once rather than one at a time? You can do so by selecting the Daily Digest option in your notification preferences. Click your profile icon, then My Account, then Change Preferences. Scroll down to the Parent Notification Type section and change the settings. Your Daily Digest email will be sent at midnight each night. See the Changing Account Settings job aid to learn more.
