Having trouble finding the information you need on this website? Just click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner to search for words or phrases.
When you search for a word or phrase in Workday, you’ll see a list of categories on the left side. These categories allow you to narrow down your search results. You can add additional categories by clicking your profile photo and selecting My Account, then Change Preferences. In the Search Preferences > Preferred Search Category section, select “All of Workday.” Click OK to save the change. Log out and then back in to Workday to see your new search categories.
The search function is one of the most powerful features inside of Workday. It is available at the top of every page AND inside most form fields. You don’t have to search for entire words or phrases. Just typing a few letters will provide you with a list of options to select from.
